What was initially intended to be a smaller event at one of Salzburg’s hotels, with only one simulator, suddenly evolved into a prestigious happening at a world-famous technological museum during the final stages of preparation. With little time left to spare, we provided the client with two additional entertainment setups featuring professional staff and bespoke branding.

With aeroplanes being both inside and outside the venue, attendees dove right into the action and took off from an aircraft carrier, giving them not only amusement but also a challenge.

To blend the client’s visual identity with the aeronautical world, we prepared custom branding perfectly fitting the venue and the occasion. Every visual touchpoint was designed specifically for this exclusive situation, transforming each flight into a tailored experience rather than a generic simulation. As a result, participants were not only flying a fighter jet, but stepping into a branded virtual experience created solely for this occasion.

The exterior and interior of the machines were subtly yet clearly edited to correspond with the client’s expectations, from easily visible bespoke liveries to gentle finishing touches with the event’s slogan. The branding seamlessly connected the exceptional venue of Hangar 7, the unique location next to the Salzburg airport’s runway, and the authenticity of the fighter jet simulators. This coherence made the entire activation polished, premium, and deliberately designed for a high-level VIP audience.

The simulator is built on a certified motion platform, which translates jet fighter movements into the seat mounted on it. The seat is placed on adjustable moving rails, ensuring that the simulator and controls are accessible to people of different sizes. The jet fighter controls placed in front of the visitor consist of two units: a yoke for controlling pitch and roll, and a second unit that controls the engine throttle, with additional switches for functions such as flaps and spoilers. Using their feet, the visitor controls the rudder and the front wheel while taxiing from the hangar to the runway. Each simulator is supervised by our experienced staff, who explain all the controls and assist throughout the experience to ensure a memorable session and help visitors acquire new skills in controlling a jet fighter.

The setup itself is crafted to provide maximum immersion. It features 3Real screens that cover the full field of view, a motion platform that replicates jet fighter movements, and a high-performance 360° sound system.
